FLEX-5000 VHF/UHF Upgrade (V/U Upgrade)

VHF/UHF Upgrade Module Features and Specifications:
- Transmit Frequencies: 2m (144-148 MHz) and 70 cm (430-450 MHz)
- Receive Frequencies: VHF (132-165 MHz) and UHF (420-465 MHz)
- Low noise preamp: 1 dB NF
- Frequency stability: ± 0.5 ppm (internal) or external 10 MHz reference
- Both oscillators are locked to the 500 MHz master oscillator in the FLEX-5000
- Class A biased power amplifiers
- Very Low Power (VLP) Version: 50 milliwatts (~17 dBm) on both VHF and UHF for transverter use (factory installation optional)
- High Power Version: 60 watts on both VHF and UHF (must be factory installed)
- Additional V/U power configurations available with different power amplifier (PA) modules - special order only (contact FlexRadio Systems Sales for more information)
- PA RF bypass for non-VLP models (50 mW output)
- All mode support - supports SSB, FM, FM-N, CW and digital modes (ASFK)
- Full duplex cross band operation mode - Satellite ready: B and J modes supported
- Simplex operation mode.
- Same band split operation for FM repeaters
- Separate transmit and receive antenna connectors on VHF or UHF for satellite or transverter operation.
- Single transceiver antenna port for single/dual band operation on VHF and/or UHF
- Internally installed in the FLEX-5000
- Field installable upgrade (50 miliwatt version only)
